Plain-language answers

Questions this tool should settle.

What is the most popular pearl earring size?

Around 7–8 mm is a classic everyday range. Smaller pearls tend to feel subtle; 9–10 mm reads more statement-like. Your proportions and taste matter more than a universal rule.

Is the pearl shown at its actual size?

It is after you calibrate the screen against a standard bank card. Without calibration, the preview uses a normal screen-density estimate and should be treated as approximate.

Are pearls measured by diameter?

Round pearls are normally described by diameter in millimetres. Non-round pearls may be listed with two or three dimensions.
